Swift Dzire 3 Seater
The all-new third-generation Swift DZire has been spied recently completely undisguised inside-out at the automaker’s Manesar facility. Several reports suggest that Maruti has commenced the production of the new Swift DZire which indicates that the automaker might as well be planning to launch it before the new Swift later this year.
Earlier in January 2017, Maruti Suzuki introduced a limited-run special edition of the Swift DZire, christened ‘Allure‘. The Swift DZire Allure edition comes with stylistic additions, both inside and outside, and is available across all the variants and colour options. It offers goodies such as chrome appliques, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, faux-wood inserts, optional Nertz sound system, and others. Mechanically, it remains unaltered.
The current Swift DZire is available with a choice of a 1.2-litre petrol (84.3PS/ 115Nm mated to a five-speed manual or a four-speed auto) and a 1.3-litre diesel (75PS/190Nm mated to a five-speed manual or a five-speed AMT). It competes with vehicles such as the VW Ameo, Ford Figo Aspire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and the Honda Amaze.
